Krishna Stoties

Krishna is a central figure of Hinduism and recognized as the creator of Karma theory, the most holi book called Bhagavad Geeta. According to Hindu mythology he is Avatar of Vishnu and called Purushottam Meaning the best in Humans, with 16 Kalan sampuran (the best possible powers the human body can posess.) Krishna is identified as a historical figure who participated in the event of the MahaBharata(A great war just like a world war in which no body could escape).
Krishna is often described as a most lovable infant or young boy playing flute (inBhagwat purans) or as a youthful Prince giving direction and guidance (in Bhagwat Geeta). The stories of Krishna appear across a broad spectrum of Hindu Philosophical and Theological traditions. They portray him in various perspectives; a god child, Avatar of Lord Vishnu, lovable to all the village ladies and the leader of village boys, a model lover, a divine hero, and the supreme being. The main scriptures discussing Krishna stories are Mahabharata, the Harivamsa, the bhagwat purana and the Vishnu Purana.
The birth of Krishna is to be said as little more than 5000 year ago. Worship of a deity or Hero Krishna in the form of Vasudeva, Gopala, Madhusudan can be traced as early as forth century AD. Worship of Krishna as a supreme being arose in middle ages in the context of Bhakti Movement. From the tenth century AD, Krishna became a favorite subject in performing arts and crafts and regional traditions of devotion and since 1960 has also spread  in the west.
The birth of Krishna is a transedental phenomenon that generates wonder among Hindus and overwhelms one and all with its super mundane happenings. Mother Earth, unable to bear a burden of sins committed by evil kings and rulars, appealed to Brahma, the creator for help. Brahma prayed to supreme lord Vishnu, who assured him that he would soon be born on earth to protect the good and destroy the evils.
One such evil was king Kansa, the rular of Mathura(in northern India) and the public was terrified of him.
